Justin Whittall and the Atlantic Utility Trailers Sales Inc., Pioneer Auto Body, World Wide Bearings, Pancho’s Racing Products 67w team headed to Williams Grove on Friday night. Whittall who is in his second year in the 360 ranks decided to take a step up and see how he could do against the best Central PA had to offer.
After a promising hot laps session, Whittall had a minor mishap in his heat race when the 67w car ultimately went over. As soon as the car returned to the pit area, the team quickly went to work, thrashing to get the car back together for the feature.
The team got the car together just in time to make it out and start 22nd in the 25 lap feature event. Even with an ill handling racecar, Whittall marched forward picking up eight positions and finishing in the 14th position in his first 410-sprint car race.
The team will now have two weeks off before returning to the Capitol Renegade United Racing Club circuit when the team visits Port Royal Speedway
