Mother Nature ruins Whittall’s visit to Bedford Speedway

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 20, 2018) – Justin Whittall’s visit to Bedford Speedway with the United Racing Club (URC) was off to a perfect start, then came the rain.
Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, kicked-off his evening at the big half-mile at Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway by winning his respective URC heat race. Before the New Jersey native had an opportunity to transfer that momentum to the main event, Mother Nature unleashed a downpour which forced officials to postpone the program until 2019.
“I’m not real surprised,” a sarcastic Justin Whittall explained about the weather issue. “We were all pretty excited. Hopefully the track and officials can work together and get us back soon.”
Unfortunately, JW Motorsports’ upcoming plans may be on hold for the time being as Justin Whittall prepares for wisdom teeth removal.
“I”m not so sure I’ll be up for racing after this procedure,” Whittall continued. “We’ll take a weekend to heal then get back at it during Labor Day weekend.”
