VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 8, 2019) - After a rather disappointing outing during his visit to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 6, the result of a failed attempt to qualify for main event competition, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall did one better on Sunday night, April 7, at BAPS Motor Speedway and rallied from 17th to finish inside the top-ten amongst a stout field of Pennsylvania regulars and All Star invaders.
Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, finished tenth during his visit to the York Haven facility; his first top-ten finish of the 2019 season.
“That was a great way to rebound after a tough night at Port Royal Speedway,” Justin Whittall said about his BAPS Motor Speedway visit. “Positive results like this can go a long way, so hopefully we can use this top-ten as a ‘fresh start,’ so to speak, and build some momentum. I can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work. I have a lot of great people who support me and I certainly wouldn’t be here without them.”
Unfortunately, Justin Whittall will have to forgo any plans to enter competition during the upcoming weekend, as prior obligations with school will force Whittall to miss the season’s first All Star Circuit of Champions invasion of Central Pennsylvania. The Series will return on multiple occasions throughout the duration of the 2019 season.
