DOWN UNDER UPDATE: Mechanical woes stir up Whittall’s weekend; Perth to host USA vs. WA Speedweek Finale

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (January 5, 2026) - It was a tough weekend Down Under for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, and although the ace of the RBH Racing, RBH Group, Turret Engineering, No. 21 was forced to settle for a DNF as a weekend highlight, his focus remains sharp, ready to regroup for Perth Motorplex’s USA vs. Western Australia Speedweek Finale on Friday and Saturday, January 9-10.
Before a part failure ended his progress in the aforementioned DNF, Whittall, the 2025 Port Royal Speedway Track Champion, was battling for a top-five, climbing ahead from the outside of row six at Bunbury Speedway on Saturday, January 3.
“Had some things not go our way this weekend, but we’ll regroup and be ready to go again,” Whittall said. “Everyone at RBH Racing does an amazing job and I’m certainly privileged to be here. We have a lot of season left in Australia with a packed January schedule…plenty of time to get back on track.”
