Whittall leads Posse charge in Morgan Cup finale; The Grove and Port Royal on deck

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 11, 2026) - Justin Whittall and Rod Gross Motorsports made Pennsylvania Posse fans proud on Saturday night at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, leading the charge as the highest Posse finisher in the annual Morgan Cup featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Whittall, a former Williams Grove Speedway winner as well as Port Royal Speedway Track Champion, finished second in Saturday’s $20,000-to-win, 30-lap A-Main, falling just behind reigning Outlaws champion David Gravel.
It was a productive evening on the whole for the Vincentown, New Jersey, ace, recording the fastest qualifying time in his respective group before racing on to a heat race victory. A fourth-place finish in the evening’s dash set his eventual feature starting position.
The runner-up result - a $9,000 score - was a great rebound for Whittall and Gross, opening Morgan Cup weekend with a 17th-place outcome on Friday, May 8.
“Just super exciting to put on a show with the World of Outlaws,” Whittall said. “It’s never easy racing with those guys. Every lap counts and they make you earn it. We have some things figured out and we’re ready to give it another go this weekend.”
ON DECK:
Justin Whittall will continue his 2026 season with visits to Williams Grove Speedway (No. 67G) and Port Royal Speedway (No. 67) on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16. Saturday’s event will feature the PA Posse 410 Sprint Car Series.
